A total of 36 delegations and 4,059 skilled workers from across the country are showcasing their prowess at the second Vocational Skills Competition of China, which is being held in North China's Tianjin from Saturday to Tuesday.
The China (Tianjin) International Equipment and Manufacturing Industry Expo is showcasing about 4,000 sets of mechanical equipment, brought by 1,000 well-known companies of machine tools, robots, industrial automation and laser processing.
Nearly one third of the value of manufactured products sold around the world, or some $5.9 trillion in 2014 alone, comes from “intangible capital,” such as branding, design and technology, according to a WIPO study.
