The district is also home to ancient cultural landmarks, such as the Yaowang Ancient Temple, constructed during the Tang Dynasty (618-907), and the Wenchang Pavilion, dating to the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644). Additionally, Xiqing is traversed by the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal, which is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
