German drive technology company Innomotics is deepening its presence in Tianjin, highlighting the city's appeal to multinational companies seeking long-term growth in China and global markets.

During the 2026 Multinational Enterprises Visit to Tianjin, overseas business leaders explored the city's industrial ecosystem and opportunities for cooperation, with new agreements signed to expand their local operations.

For Innomotics, its commitment goes beyond a short-term investment. Innomotics Large Motors (Tianjin)'s new factory in Tianjin's Beichen Economic and Technological Development Zone began operations on June 26, following an investment of 600 million yuan ($89.99 million).

Integrating research and development, manufacturing, testing, and global services, the facility incorporates digitalization, lean production, and green practices throughout its operations.

The company's continued investment reflects Tianjin's strong industrial foundation and stable business environment. By combining the city's manufacturing strengths with Innomotics' advanced drive technologies, the partnership aims to strengthen the company’s competitiveness in global markets while supporting its long-term development in China.
