2024-06-28

To promote exchanges between Chinese and foreign nationals, China has decided to implement a trial visa waiver policy to New Zealand, Australia, and Poland.

From July 1, 2024, to December 31, 2025, ordinary passport holders of the above countries are permited to stay on the Chinese mainland for up to 15 days for business, tourism, and family visit purposes, and they are also allowed to transit without a visa.

However, individuals from these countries who do not meet the visa exemption criteria will still need to obtain a visa before entering China.
