The 2026 China Culture & Tourism Industries Expo opened on Sept 3 at the Tianjin Meijiang Convention Center in Tianjin.
Organized by China's Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the four-day expo features 18 professional events covering regional cooperation, industrial innovation, technology-driven development, and cultural tourism consumption.
Spanning 100,000 square meters, the expo comprises 10 themed exhibition areas showcasing new developments in cultural and tourism integration, digital tourism, cultural and tourism equipment, international cooperation, Tianjin's unique characteristics and consumer products.
The event has attracted 2,540 cultural and tourism companies from 30 provinces, regions, and municipalities across China, as well as 20 countries and regions. Ten international organizations and national industry associations are also participating.
This marks the second time the expo has been held in Tianjin, providing a platform to showcase new achievements in the integrated development of culture, commerce, tourism and sports.
