A new exhibition highlighting Tianjin's cooperation and exchanges with Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) member states opened on Aug 31 at the Foreign Affairs Office of Tianjin Municipal People's Government.
The exhibition features four sections covering trade and economic cooperation, vocational education, healthcare, and cultural exchange. More than 100 photos and documents showcase the city's achievements and stories of mutually beneficial cooperation with SCO countries.
International residents in Tianjin also shared their perspectives at the exhibition.
Pi Anrui, or Peter Mecoy, has lived in Tianjin for over 30 years and has long been active in local volunteer work. In his view, Tianjin blends historical depth with modern vitality. The successful hosting of the SCO Tianjin Summit a year ago brought valuable opportunities to the city.
German teacher Su Musi, who has lived in Tianjin for seven years, recalled a cultural exchange event held during Tianjin Fashion Week as particularly memorable.
The exhibition not only reviews Tianjin's progress in high-quality development and opening-up over the past year, but also looks ahead to deeper cooperation and the building of a closer SCO community.
