China marked another major step forward in its space station program when it successfully launched a Long March-7 carrier rocket carrying the Tianzhou-10 cargo spacecraft on May 11 from the Wenchang Space Launch Site.
The Long March-7 carrier rocket was manufactured and assembled by Tianjin Aerospace Long March Rocket Manufacturing, once again highlighting Tianjin’s crucial role in China’s space industry chain.
The Tianzhou-10 mission delivered 67 scientific payloads, experimental units, samples and consumables, with a total weight of around 768 kilograms. These materials will support 41 on-orbit scientific experiments focusing on space life science, microgravity physics, space application technologies, astronomy and Earth science.
This mission is the fifth cargo resupply flight since China's space station entered its application and development phase, and the 641st flight of the Long March rocket family.
The Long March-7 rocket continues to operate with a stable technical configuration and standardized procedures, ensuring reliable performance for China's expanding space missions.
