A parallel session on the role of green computing power was held in conjunction with the 2026 Global Business Leaders Roundtable in Tianjin on March 25, calling for deeper integration of computing power and electricity.

The meeting brought together industry experts, corporate executives, and representatives from research institutions to explore pathways for the green development of the computing power industry, the integration of computing power and electricity, and cross-domain computing power.

Zhou Shengxi, deputy director of the Tianjin Data Bureau, detailed Tianjin's computing power service system and its industrial development advantages, showcasing a solid foundation for a green computing power ecosystem.

In his keynote speech, Zheng Weimin, a professor at Tsinghua University and an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, proposed a heterogeneous collaborative innovation solution to empower green computing and promote the development of the AI industry.

During the roundtable, experts reached a consensus that the development of green computing power requires a commitment to the synergistic coordination of technology, energy, and operations, driving a transition from the integration of power sources, grids, loads, and storage toward the integration of electricity and computing.
