The Foreign Affairs Office of Tianjin Municipal People's Government (TJFAO) has hosted an "International Community Around Us" series of forums aimed at facilitating the integration of foreign nationals into the life of the city.

During the session focused on international students, attendees received informational materials, including "Foreigners Living in Tianjin Know Everything". Representatives from the Tianjin Municipal Bureau of Commerce provided insights into the city's development as an international consumption hub, while international students shared their experiences and suggestions regarding life and study in Tianjin.

Following the session, student representatives participated in a beach clean-up campaign at the Sino-Singapore Tianjin Eco-City, deepening their understanding of marine conservation while collaborating with local volunteers. Many expressed enthusiasm for promoting Tianjin and acting as a bridge between the city and the world.

In a separate gathering for foreign businesses and experts, 10 representatives discussed strategies to enhance Tianjin's international profile and foster foreign cooperation.

Afterward, participants joined the China Farmers' Harvest Festival in the Wuqing district, experiencing the joys of rural life and agricultural success.

Luan Jianzhang, director of TJFAO, emphasized the office's commitment to advancing Tianjin's internationalization efforts by providing tailored services for foreign residents and addressing practical issues.

Luan said he hoped that, together with international friends, they can promote Tianjin globally, fostering global connections and encouraging more foreigners to visit the city.
