A train loaded with 55 40-foot containers departed from Tianjin Port on July 13 and destined for Central Asian countries via the the Horgos border port in Northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region.

The train, primarily carrying cars, tires and lubricants, aims to provide customers with smoother and more convenient international intermodal service.

Tianjin Port, the closest seaport to Xinjiang's border port, handles sea and land resources to enhance market development for the Central Asian train route. It is expanding comprehensive logistics services to promote international freight train trips.

The General Administration of Customs service at Tianjin New Port has assisted shipping and trading companies by providing rapid clearance of goods. It has implemented rapid inspection with multipoint operation to expedite the efficient circulation of goods.

China Railway's Beijing Bureau and its affiliated Tianjin Container Center Station fully support the train freight business. They provide "one-stop" service to ensure smooth coordination of railway planning, train organization, cargo declaration and resource management.

The train marks a significant step in supporting the Belt and Road Initiative, the coordinated development of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region and the high-level opening-up of inland areas.

It also represents a key step in integrating Central Asian countries into the global economic development framework and stabilizing the international industrial and supply chains, laying a foundation for the regular operation of port-departing trains.
