On June 26, the much-anticipated "Tianjin Night" city promotion event was held in Dalian, Liaoning province, during the 15th Annual Meeting of the New Champions, also known as the Summer Davos.

Over a thousand Chinese and international guests gathered to experience the charm of the coastal city of Tianjin in a venue adorned with elements representing the city.

The event showcased a variety of performances, including folk music, Peking opera, and Western opera, captivating the audience with a blend of Chinese and Western, and ancient and modern art forms.

Guests enjoyed freshly made Tianjin specialities, including pancakes, Guoba dishes, dumplings, pastries from Xianghe Bobo Shop, and ice cream from Seven Gelato. Long lines formed in front of many food booths, adding to the festive atmosphere.

"This is very good!" said Nick Campbell from a British publishing agency after tasting Tianjin's food. Campbell, a regular attendee of the Summer Davos, praised Tianjin as a forward-looking city and expressed his excitement about visiting Tianjin again next year.

Gunay, from Azerbaijan, created with the help of volunteers a Yangliuqing New Year picture, a part of the time-honored intangible cultural heritage in Tianjin, and happily showed it to reporters. "This is my first time attending the Summer Davos, and I am very excited. The performances and food tonight are great!" she said.
