Young French entrepreneurs visit Tianjin to celebrate diplomatic anniversary

To celebrate the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and France, the Franco-Chinese Institute for Technological and Business Innovation organized the "Young French Entrepreneurs in China" event in Tianjin on May 27 to 28.

The Tianjin Foreign Affairs Office warmly welcomed a delegation of 16 young French entrepreneurs. During their stay, the delegation engaged in discussions with experts from the Tianjin Office of the Chahar Society, a civilian think tank on strategic studies, and visited the Beijiang Museum and Anjie IoT Technology Co.

At the 110-year-old Beijiang Museum, the delegation explored the academic achievements and extensive collections of the renowned French naturalist Emile Licent, who once conducted scientific research in Tianjin. The delegation was deeply impressed by the museum's profound cultural and historical heritage, unique architectural design, and rich collection system. They also appreciated the urban culture of Tianjin, which seamlessly blends Chinese and Western influences as well as ancient and modern elements.

At Tianjin Anjie IoT Technology Co, the delegation toured the internet building, the exhibition hall, the underground computer room and the control center. They discussed topics such as new energy, green hydrogen and energy storage. The delegation acknowledged the company's advanced technology in the field of low-carbon energy, noting its broad prospects, and it expressed a strong interest in promoting deeper cooperation between China and France in green energy.
