On May 22, the Sino-Singapore Eco-City held a green innovation industry resource linkage conference in Beijing.
This event focused on the eco-city's green and low-carbon initiatives, aiming to promote further collaboration between the eco-city and enterprises in Beijing, bridging the gap between supply and demand in the industry and creating a Beijing-Tianjin green low-carbon industrial ecosystem.
The Sino-Singapore Eco-City is a major cooperative project between the governments of China and Singapore, and it is the world's first eco-city developed through intergovernmental cooperation. After nearly 16 years of development, what was once barren saline-alkali land has been transformed into a green ecological new city, achieving the harmonious development of the ecological environment and economic growth.
During the event, the 'Sino-Singapore Eco-City Green Low-Carbon Scene Opportunity List' was released. Focusing on green and low-carbon development, the eco-city opened up opportunities in 5 areas and 7 scenes to enterprises in Beijing, providing a demonstration environment for green innovative technologies.
More than 20 enterprises from the Beijing-Tianjin region participated in roadshows and exchanges focusing on green and low-carbon technology applications, aiming to explore high-quality industrial resources.
At the event, eco-city investment promotion personnel introduced the development prospects of the eco-city's low-carbon industry and its favorable business environment to participating enterprises from Beijing, inviting them to bring their high-quality resources to the eco-city and establish a presence there.
Since the implementation of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei coordinated development strategy, the Sino-Singapore Eco-City has been deepening cooperation with innovative entities such as higher education institutions, research institutes, and enterprises in Beijing, increasing efforts to attract high-quality projects and deepen industrial cooperation.
Centered around three leading industries—smart technology services, cultural health tourism, and green construction and development—the eco-city has attracted over 5,000 enterprises with backgrounds in Beijing, maintaining a proportion of over 40% of all enterprises in the region.
