From Feb 1 to 9, the Foreign Affairs Office of Tianjin Municipal People's Government and Tianjin People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries hosted a series of events themed "The International Community Around You", inviting members of the international community to gather and celebrate the Chinese New Year.

Raydis from Venezuela, Oznur Agiral from Turkey, and Meline from Armenia experienced the festive atmosphere of Tianjin's New Year customs. They watched traditional Chinese storytelling, Peking Opera, and music performances, and appreciated films jointly produced by Chinese and Americans to witness universal family stories. They also participated in various traditional folk activities such as dumpling making, paper-cutting, sugar painting, and making sugar-coated haws.
