Tianjin Museum of Finance

On June 9, 2010, the China Finance Museum Group established the first Tianjin Museum of Finance in Jiefang North Road with exhibits celebrating the century-old financial history in Tianjin. 

It was originally a French club and it is the first specialized financial museum in China integrating exhibitions, education, financial and cultural consumption and financial history research activities, and is open to the public free of charge. 

The exhibition area in the museum is 2400 square meters, and its collections feature currency, financial instruments and a great number of financial objects from China and the world from various times. 

It has also set up permanent exhibition areas such as China's financial history, the world's financial history and current situation, finance and us, bonds and stocks and the subprime mortgage and financial crisis. The museum will regularly launch special exhibitions, lectures, forums and other activities on different topics to build a platform for financial inclusion and cultural promotion for the masses.

As an important institution for financial enlightenment, financial ecology and financial inclusion, Tianjin Museum of Finance has become a major financial and cultural landmark in Tianjin, undertaking the tasks of popularizing financial knowledge, transferring financial ideas, interpreting financial innovation to audiences, paying attention to financial focus issues, and promoting exchanges among financial peers.

 It is the only professional museum in China to introduce China's financial history in an all-round way, displaying financial knowledge from a full perspective, and connecting the current situation and future development of the financial industry.
