Wega Auto Parts (Tianjin), a subsidiary of Brazilian auto parts distributor Wega, has signed an agreement to settle in the Tianjin Economic-Technological Development Area (TEDA), beginning operations at the TEDA Modern Service District's Executive Center and becoming the first wholly foreign-owned enterprise to move into the Modern Service District in 2026.

The new branch will focus on retail and wholesale of automotive air and liquid filters, as well as related technical services, with Wega's China team based mainly in Shanghai.

Local investment promotion teams provided one-stop services throughout the process, assisting with site selection, foreign capital registration, and foreign exchange settlement. The project is expected to add momentum to the region's diversified, high-quality automotive industry.
