Tianjin delegation secures 55 procurement deals at 8th CIIE

The six-day 8th China International Import Expo (CIIE) concluded with strong results for Tianjin. The city's trade delegation, made up of nearly 1,000 enterprises and institutions and more than 2,500 participants, reached 55 procurement agreements, with the total value up 6 percent from last year.

The deals covered a diverse range of categories, including technical equipment, industrial components, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, meat, seafood, dairy, soybeans, and palm oil.

Tianjin Longchuang Hengsheng Industrial Co signed a $110-million contract with Germany's Hiwin GmbH for robotics and nano-positioning platforms, marking its fifth consecutive year of deals over $100 million.

CNNC Accuray (Tianjin) Medical Technology Co purchased more than $60 million in imported components to support the production of advanced radiotherapy equipment.

Tianjin Food Supply Chain Group partnering with Aqua Chile on a salmon supply agreement worth over 100 million yuan ($14.04 million), ensuring fresh delivery via Tianjin Port's direct shipping routes.

Tianjin's Yingbin brand was recognized among the top 10 innovation cases at the 5th China Time-Honored Brand Innovation Development Conference.

Delegation members also visited COSCO Shipping, and China Eastern Airlines, while meeting executives from Louis Dreyfus, Nestle, BD Medical, and Novo Nordisk. These engagements produced new cooperation intentions across multiple sectors.
